Bringing together diverse perspectives, backgrounds & approaches will catapult our progress forward. We believe this applies to grantee organizations and funders and aim to foster deep collaboration in all our endeavors. 

Accountability

You can’t manage (or impact) what you can’t measure. To create meaningful, enduring change, we need to be results oriented and develop the mechanisms to ensure accountability. We will invest early in building our collective understanding & evidence for investment in our fields of focus. We will partner closely with key funders & professionals to ensure tools are meaningful and usable. 

We would not be here today if not for the sacrifices, love & inspiration that came from Katie & Amnon’s parents: Bern & Harry Pregerson and Eva & Kurt Rodan. In their own ways, they each devoted themselves to helping others. Whether it be acting as a voice for the voiceless as Bern & Harry did, leading the way for the state of Israel to flourish as Eva & Kurt did, or building loving, hardworking, committed families, they showed us that determination & relentless pursuit of one’s goals can move mountains. They inspire our work every single day.

In addition to honoring their legacies through our foundation’s work, we have a special fund that makes donations to causes focused on social justice & homelessness in Los Angeles in Harry’s honor. Grants by invitation only.
