Our Strategy

We believe that a strong Jewish community is based on connection and belonging. Our focus is to ensure the next generation has a meaningful relationship with the local Jewish community, Jewish tradition & the greater Jewish people. 

We’re investing in the future Jewish people by scaling access to and quality of Jewish Early Childhood Education (ECE), cultivating peer-driven communities, and diversifying Jewish leadership in our home communities of the SF East Bay Area and Los Angeles. This local work is complemented by national investments in peoplehood and policy leadership.  

Our Approach

Our grants focus on the next generation, especially young adults and families with young children, who are seeking community and new relationships. By engaging them in personal ways that complement their other interests, we seek to provide inroads toward deeper, lasting involvement with the Jewish community. Our investments in best-in-class Jewish preschools, quality programming & a strong organizational ecosystem are designed to support the continued development of a connected, vibrant & diverse Jewish community.
